Have you started dreaming pumpkins? Maybe it's a little early for you, but pumpkins in all colors and sizes are starting to pop up at the grocery stores and farmers' markets. Most years I am partial to the bright orange orbs, but I have been known to bring home a white pumpkin or two, as well. Mother's Day comes at one of my most favorite times of the year... flower planting time. If I could give Mom the ultimate gift for her special day, I'd create an English cottage-style garden with a white picket fence filled with all her favorite pretty flowers. I woke up to a fresh coating of snow this morning. After a gorgeous sunny day yesterday... well it's a damp blanket for the day... but I know spring and sunny skies are coming soon. Have you noticed? The days are getting longer! The sun won't set tonight until 6:30! That means I can go for an after-dinner walk in twilight and not pitch darkness.
