Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Today we honor a man who made a difference.
A man of influence and leadership and passion.
A man most notable for being a change agent.
A thinking man.
A man who counted the cost and was willing to pay the price for equality between the races.
Martin Luther King, Jr., a man who loved God, who sought to live a Christlike life, and follow God’s will and calling on his life, no matter what.
And it’s for that I honor him today.
The Lord God has told us
what is right
and what he demands:
“See that justice is done,
let mercy be your first concern,
and humbly obey your God.”
Regardless of philosophies or politics… we can choose to be reminded of what really makes a difference.
It usually comes down to what we do… or don’t do.
I needed that reminder today… you too?
Thank you for stopping by today.
I appreciate you and your sweet comments make my day.
Be extraordinary!
Diane

It comes down to what we do….or don’t do.
How great is that simple truth….
I love this what a great printout and perfect for this week! Thanks for sharing!
A long time ago, I read a line somewhere that so moved me (one of those quotes I love to instill in my children): “All it takes for hate to prevail in this world is for one good man to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING”. We all CAN make a difference.
