Terms & Conditions

An Extraordinary Day is owned by me, Diane Miller, creator, writer, publisher.

This website is my platform for sharing what’s important to me in life and inspiring readers with creative, easy, and inexpensive ways to decorate and entertain in their homes as well as provide inspiring thoughts for their hearts.

While An Extraordinary Day is a completely family-friendly website, the material on this website is provided for entertainment and informative purposes only and is intended for adult users only.   The projects, tutorials, recipes, and articles found here are intended for an adult audience, as they may include the use of tools, chemicals, and other items that may cause harm to children.

Projects & Tutorials

Neither I nor any of my contributors claim to be professionals in the areas of DIY (do-it-yourself) projects.  We are just people who enjoy decorating, DIY projects, and enjoy sharing our experiences along the way.  Our suggestions, methods, and tutorials are not free from error, and we make absolutely no guarantees that readers who tackle these projects will have the same outcome.

Should you choose to follow any of the tutorials on this website, you do so at your own risk.  Please use safety precautions (even if they are not specifically mentioned in the tutorial, e.g., the use of protective goggles, gloves, etc., when needed), and do additional research so that you feel comfortable taking on any projects and using the suggested tools.  And most importantly, please use common sense.

By using this website (and any of the tutorials or decorating advice found on An Extraordinary Day), you agree that if you are injured while attempting something you’ve seen on An Extraordinary Day, or if a project does not yield the results that you intended after following the tutorials and tips shown here, you will not hold An Extraordinary Day, Diane Miller, or any contributor to An Extraordinary Day liable in any way.

All photos on this website that are not credited to an outside source are the property of An Extraordinary Day (most are watermarked with AnExtraodinaryDay.net).  If you would like to use photos belonging to An Extraordinary Day on your website or blog, please feel free to do so as long as the photos are credited and linked back to An Extraordinary Day with the anchor text “An Extraordinary Day” or a description of the project or room shown in the photo.

Please do not use nondescript anchor text that simply says “here” or “source” or “via” or any other single, nondescript word.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, EDIT OR ALTER MY PHOTOS, including removal of the watermark, without prior written approval.  You may send your request to AnExtraordinaryDay @ gmail.com.

Please limit your use to one or two photos per project or post.  In other words, using every single photo from a tutorial or room reveal in your article or blog post, even if fully credited and linked, is strictly prohibited unless you have received prior express permission from An Extraordinary Day.
