Hello, friends! Thanks for coming by!
We had a very busy but good weekend and hope you did too. The weather has been humid and hot. It sure makes me grateful for air conditioning… though I only turn it on for a few minutes each day. Have you noticed? The sun is setting noticeably later each night. It makes me sad to think summer is starting her hurry towards fall. In order to savor every moment… I’m planning on stealing a bit of time each day to sit by the lake or walk the water’s edge. It restores my soul like nothing else. What do you do to enjoy the last remaining days of summer?
I’ve got some home decor projects in the works for you. Today I just finished up with a very fun photo shoot of my tiny dining area. Look for it on the blog very soon.

It makes me sad to think of summer coming closer to it’s end too. I’m not sure why since we have a very long warm season. Maybe it’s because we used to live where there wasn’t very much summer. We like to take every opportunity to take a drive up into the mountains or get out on one of the lakes. We aren’t as close to a lake as you are though so it is a planned event. Thanks for the party my friend. Expecting God to bless you oh, so much this week.
Patti
Patti… I think there’s so much life in the summer… growth… harvest… and all those gorgeous flowers. All of it makes my heart sing. I’m so glad you get to enjoy both the mountains and the lakes and make the time to get away. That’s truly wonderful. Thanks for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. {{hugs}}
If our weather were milder I would feel sad about the end of Summer, but honestly we suffer in the Texas heat and I would like to fast forward to September. However, I do remember growing up in the inter-mountain West and Momma being so sad that Winter was just around the corner.
As I grow older each season that passes does bring a little sadness to my day.
Thank you for the lovely party and your gracious spirit too!

Jemma
Oh, Jemma… I don’t know how you garden outside in your intense heat. Seriously, I would melt away into a puddle. 😉
Thanks so much for popping by… I love seeing your smiling words! {{hugs}}
