I love wreaths!
Typically you can find a wreath in almost every room of my home. Especially at Christmas.
Last year I had so much fun playing with this white birch for a table setting that I decided to make a natural white birch wreath, too. It’s not round like a “normal” wreath… which makes it even more fun for me.
If you’re still trying to get some Christmas decor up on your walls or doors, there is still time. If you try make a wreath like this… please let me know. I’d love to see yours.
It’s time for Project Inspire{d}!
I am so glad you’re here!
Before we get going… I want to take a minute to talk to my blogging friends about something that will help you get better rankings for your blog. Most of you come and link up your Great Ideas and that is fabulous. But, you’re missing an integral part of why we have link parties. The reason for link parties isn’t just to show off your Great Ideas and see what others are doing and gain extra exposure and readers. Nope.
There’s a reason these parties are called “link” parties.
You see when you link up your “permalink” that’s great. But, what’s even better for rankings is to have my link to that same post on your blog. If only one of us does the linking… it doesn’t help either of us. So… let’s make this linky party a win/win for both of us and improve our rankings with Google, Alexa, etc.
I should mention that buttons are great, a separate page of link parties you attend is wonderful… but the only purpose they serve is to advertise where you party. They do nothing to help our rankings. They are not able to do for you what a simple text link at the bottom of your post will accomplish.
What do you need to do? The very best thing is to add something like this… “Sharing at these wonderful spots: An Extraordinary Day, Cupcakes and Crinoline, Yesterday on Tuesday, The Silly Pearl, Stone Gable, etc.” add at the bottom of your post. Be sure that you add the permalink of the post you linked to. To do that, simply go to the browser and copy the address. For example, last week’s linky party’s permalink was: https://anextraordinaryday.net/hot-holiday-tip-project-inspired-96/. What I do is add the blog name… and then hyperlink the name with the permalink so it looks like this: An Extraordinary Day. (Don’t just add the name of the blog you link to.)
If you have any questions… feel free to ask.
I’ll look forward to seeing your link backs when I visit you.
To show my appreciation…
When I visit you and see that you have linked back at the bottom of your post, I will give a social media shout out during the week for that particular post. 🙂

Hi Diane – Well the party isn’t open yet but I decided to comment early! I love your birch wreath idea. I don’t have birch trees in my yard but I have a couple of interesting sticks I’ve gathered and I was toying with spraying painting them white to look like birch branches just today! I’m in the midst of a lot of last minute decorations to get my house ready for both of my daughters and my son-in-law to come in just a few days for Christmas in our new home. I think a birch wreath would be nice in the guest bedroom . . . if I can get to it!
Thank you for all you do. I’ll see you back at the party in a little while.
Blessings to you,
Patti
Patti…I think spraying your branches white is a fabulous idea!!
Don’t do what I am always guilty of doing… too much and making myself and my husband crazy. Okay… really just me…I just feel badly for him. I don’t know why I try so hard to do so much for Christmas. I guess I just love everything about it sooo much. 😉 Enjoy your new home… it’s beautiful and enjoy your family coming for Christmas. People are always the best adornment a house could ever have. 😉
[hugs] and blessings to you my friend!
Wishing you a blessed and JOYous Christmas!
