Are you waving the flag for Memorial Day?
I thought it would be fun to share a super easy little project
to add a little patriotism to a wall or front door.
Easy Flag Ribbon Wreath & Tutorial
Here’s the “how to”…..
One.
Gather some red, white, and blue ribbon. You can see that I got mine on deep clearance a while ago. Keep your eye out for out-of-season trims for the best prices. And…really when I bought it I had no idea how I would use it. But, the colors were just right. It would be great to use three solid colors, too.
Two.
Use an existing wreath that is plain and in one of our country’s colors. This is a simple dollar store foam wreath wrapped in strips of fabric with a pouf of fabric flowers. (I’ve never done a tutorial of this and if you want one…say the word.) Take the end of your ribbon and pin it in the wreath (or if you’re using a grapevine wreath hot glue it in place to start). Start wrapping your ribbon around the wreath and try to arrange it evenly as you go. When you get to the end. Cut the ribbon and repeat the pinning or gluing.
Three.
Admire your work!
Four.
Take a piece of jute and knot it and leave a nice loop. Pin it or glue it onto the back of the wreath. (Tip…angle the pin’s point upward.) And hang it up your creation.
I love quick and easy ways to add a festive holiday flare to my decor. And this easy flag ribbon wreath is perfect for every patriotic holiday!

What a super cute great idea, I am not sure if you have already done or posted a tutorial of the dollar store wreath wrapped in material with the flower, but if you have, could you send me the link to it. I would really like to see how you made that wreath and especially the flower. Thanks and keep up the wonderful inspiration!
