Day 4

When the autumn skies are mostly blue and the sun is shining I want to be outside?  How about you?

Do you do any fall fluffing in your outdoor spaces?

As I attempt to live more fully, more intentionally, I find myself taking time to make inviting  outdoor spots.  Such as the addition of a pillow to a chair.  Rearranging the seating in the fall to take advantage of the sun’s warmth.  Or even bringing a little decor…which is often inside….outside.

Visually it lifts my spirits.

It makes me want to linger….to enjoy the aromas of the falling leaves….to sit back and day dream….to catch up on a good read.   Those fifteen minutes or so I steal away leave me refreshed.

Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary.

Take a few moments to create a lovely outdoor setting…just for you.

Then again….you just might want to invite a friend over for a mug of hot spiced cider to enjoy this sliver of autumn, too.  Hawthorn was right…we don’t want to waste the precious autumn sunshine by staying in the house!!
