Have you ever noticed that when you come to a river, or any running body of water, you pause?
Last weekend we went for a morning walk.
When we got to the river, we carefully walked a lumpy path carved by massive tires and made our way close to its shore as we could get. And we paused.
Yes, I took lots of photos….breathed in the beauty….and most of all…lost my hurry.
Pooh Bear said, “Rivers know this: There is no hurry, we shall get there some day.”
Ahhh…what’s your hurry?
And now, on to our Extraordinary Link Party….
Thank you so much for popping by to party with us. YOU make our party. It’s so fun getting to know you and being inspired with all your creativity.
I can’t wait to see what you’ve linked up this week.

Hi Diane, I need to remember to loose my hurry sometimes too. I love how you put that “lost my hurry”. Everyone needs to take some time each day and loose theirs too. Thanks for hosting such a fun party every week 🙂
Oh Meg….I think my biggest mistakes in life come from being in a hurry. 😉

Thanks so much for featuring my birdcage arrangement, Diane! And before I read the beginning paragraph, I stopped for a minute to look at the beautiful picture of the water. So even when I came across it on the screen, I stopped to enjoy it. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the party! 🙂
You are sooo welcome, Christy! I love it and the wreath!!!

Lynda
You are so welcome! What a joy it is to bless you! [hugs]
Wonderful photo at the river. I like to go there daily, but since braving it over tire ruts filled with ice/snow isn’t allowed right now, I sit in the car and just let the hurry exit. Rivers do that well.
Awesome picks…wonderful photos by the gal and her hubby…and very cute birdcage idea. I don’t know how you could pick from so many talent filled projects!
Thanks Mel! I walked there again today…there was ice along the edge and a fresh coating of snow. I tried to take photos my nearly froze my fingers off. When I turned around, I spied a Merganser (duck) which I scared off and a dozen of his friends. Phooey. I didn’t even get a chance to enjoy my sighting….let along get any photos. 🙁 I guess they are skittish. Anyway, it’s a pleasant place to visit. I really love water. I’m so glad you have a spot to visit each day, too. It’s amazing the peace that comes from those moments.
I found your linky on G+–great party! I followed you on Pinterest and will put your button on my party page and link it to your site!
Yay! I’m so glad we’ve connected Tammy! Thank you so much for joining in the fun here and doing all that good following stuff too! You are Extraordinary!!
What a beautiful picture of the river Diane. Nature does have a way of slowing us down. Thanks for hosting another great party! Have a wonderful week! ~Deborah
