Lovely pink peonies were blooming in my back yard.
Their heads were heavy. Rain was in the forecast.
What a beautiful excuse to pick these ruffled lovelies and enjoy them indoors.
Once inside, they beckoned me to play with my camera and a few antique pretties.
Pink is not one of my favorite colors. But, I do adore pink flowers in the garden….along with shades of blues and purples and white and everything in between. Together they all make my heart sing. As does this love quote by Browning:
Who so loves believes the impossible.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Super fun party, ladies, congratulations! Patsy
Awww…Patsy….thanks for your warm words!
Hope your day is Extraordinary!!
Wow….more things to investigate! There’s a fairy garden from a broken terra cotta pot that I need to snag ideas from!! I’ve been wondering what to do with it. 🙂 I used some pieces for garden warnings. LOL. “Grow!!!….or else…” When all else fails, threaten your flowers? 😉 Bit ‘cheeky’, but definitely ME. LOL
What a fun collection of ideas you have gathered here! Hope it’s as fun for the posters as it is for the visitors!
Haha! It is fun and so is your reaction to all the goodness there.
And what? You threaten your flowers? Um. Me too.
Back in Michigan I had a white azalea. It would. not. bloom. So we moved it to another not-so-showy spot and I told it that if it didn’t bloom I was going to hoik it over the hill. Wow…did it put on a profusion of blooms each year thereafter. Threats do work in the plant world. 😉
Hi! Just found your linky party and my, oh my, there are a lot of links! Found you on Tuesday Trivia.
Oh I hope you join in the fun here!!
Thanks for popping over!!
WOW what a party!! I think y’all have your hands quite busy this week!! Have a blast and thanks so much for sharing for my party!
Doni
You are so kind, Doni! I love popping by your place…it always delights my eye and my spirit. And this week I noticed for the first time your reminder on the sidebar how faith is not something we muster up on our own. It was a good reminder for me. I always say that…but it’s a blessing to have someone else remind me of that during a tough time.
Blessings & Hugs!
Love the quote you shared Diane and the things you’ve gathered together are so lovely!
Happy weekend!
Thank you Sally!
May your weekend be extraordinary!
Love the photo! I did the same thing – ran outside and snipped some peonies because of the impending rain!
Thanks so much for joining in this week.
xo
Claudia
Thanks Claudia!!! 🙂
Blessings!

Oh Jen, I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the peonies this year. They’re time is just too brief.
Hope your week is filled with HIS joy!!
