Coastal Blues Tablescape #coastal #coastalhomedecor

On these hot summer days, we’re all looking for ways to feel cool and comfortable.

One way to feel cool as a cucumber is to surround ourselves with cooler colors likes blues, whites, and greens.

Last summer I had fun playing around with a tablescape in coastal blues.

What blues are coastal blues?

Just look at your favorite body of water.  Notice the many, many shades of blue.

Use them freely and you’re off to feeling cooler and refreshed.

Who knew it would be so easy.

Now go check out my Casual Coastal Tablescape here.

Can you believe that in a few days the calendar will be turning again and the second month of summer will fall away?  August is upon us just too quickly.   I don’t know about you, but when August comes, I find myself digging in and working at savoring these final weeks of summer.   Let’s face it….summer is just too short.  And as much as I enjoy everything autumn, summer just goes way too fast.

Let’s check out some of your summer creativity…

My Pick….

Andrea made this fabulous herringbone design deck with pallets.  One hundred pallets to be exact.
You’ve got to go check out how she did it and leave her your Wow! words.
