Winter weather seems to be the topic of conversation everywhere.
Did you get snow? I love hearing the excitement of those of you who are experiencing the first real snowfall in a long time. Please tell me you celebrated by making snow ice cream.
Yesterday the sun was shining here in the Mitten State, for a while, and the temps were all the way up to the low twenties! My husband and I celebrated by going for a long walk at a local park. The best part was walking on some of the frozen marsh. I know…it doesn’t take much for me. [wink] And of course, I took a bunch of photos too.

I’ve decided that winter is all about attitude (well maybe altitude if you’re a skier…but I digress).
We can hunker down, soldier down, brave against the wind and snow….or we can laugh.
Winter Quote by Victor Hugo…
Laughter is sun that drives winter from the human face.
Okay…I know that sounds like a funny thing to do, but laughter really is the sun in the harshness of winter.
If you winter seems to be endless like mine….laugh at it!
This week we are actually supposed to make it above freezing. I’m not sure, but it seems that we have been below freezing since the first of the year. Brrrrr.
Be sure to download the free printable. It’s bright and cheery and will help you laugh through the end of winter.
And now, on to our Extraordinary Link Party….

Spring will find us….after a few more snowfalls. LOL It’s all good–this is one of the things I adore about the midwest–we have SEASONS and we know we’re having them. No wussy seasons for us, no sir! 😉
Ah, but I see there are links for keeping a tidy house and for getting raised flowerbeds ready!
SEE! Spring is coming! 😉
Oh yes! There are many more snowfalls to look forward to. We just had an unexpected one last night, with snow and drifting and school delays. But, as I type this, the sun has burst over the clouds at the treeline and it looks like we’ll have a lovely day.
Oh, my goodness, what awesome features this week! Can’t wait to check out the links this week! Thanks to all you ladies for hosting.
Blessings!

I really appreciate the feature for my junky wall organizer Diane! Thanks so very much 🙂
You are so welcome! It’s my pleasure to be able to bless you in this small way!! You are so creative.
Did I see somewhere you live in GR? I used to work there and lived in GH & SL.
I live in Lowell, so right outside of GR. I love living in a small town and having my house in the country, while being so close to the city for when I need to make a run for supplies. 🙂
It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Lowell. We used to visit an antique shop there. What a lovely place to live!
Great printable!
Toodie….thank you sooo much!!!!
Hope your weekend is extraordinary!
I seriously think I’m the only one who has never made snow ice cream before, I honestly had never heard of it until it started popping up all over Facebook this past month. Oops. Love this quote, definitely good for this snowy winter. Thanks for sharing on the weekend re-Treat link party!
Britni @ Play. Party. Pin.
Haha! Britni…this year was the first time I have ever made snow ice cream! 😉 Goodness….I think the amount of snow everywhere is probably why it has become so popular, too!
Hope your week is extraordinary!!
