November is the gratitude month.

With the holidays approaching it’s a good thing to get ready by being thankful.

We can and should be gracious….encouraging….kind.

But…most of all we should be thankful!

Seriously…

Contentment comes from a thankful heart.

Creativity comes from a thankful heart.

Generosity comes from a thankful heart.

And that’s just the beginning of what we need as we approach the holidays.

I’m sure you can share more…and please do so!!

Today…

Grab a pad of paper and pen…title your page “Thankful Thursday” and run numbers down the page.

Then, grab a timer, set it for a minute or two or five.

Write down what you are thankful for as quickly as you can.  See how many things you can list in that small amount of time.

Want to make this even more fun?  Race your friends or co-workers or family members in this activity.

But…don’t stop there…keep adding to your list throughout the day.

When you are ready to tuck in to bed at the end of the day…you will truly have had a Thankful Thursday.

Of course…you can do this activity any day or everyday!

I’d love it if you’d pop over to my Facebook page throughout the day and leave one of your words of thanks there to share with our little community.  It should be fun!!!

Being….thankful!

Diane
