In preparation for the joyous celebration of Easter, I decided to do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time….

Create a piece of colorful subway art.  An Easter printable.

Easter Subway Art Printable:: Resurrection Celebration :: AnExtraordinaryDay.net

For me, thinking through and meditating on the words as I created this piece has been a time of worship.  You might find it helpful in a similar way too.  It’s a nice way to remember and celebrate the resurrection of Christ and the sacrifice made.

How do you observe Holy Week?

Where the words ‘third day’ appear, I originally had ‘Easter Sunday.’  My husband suggested to me that this piece would transcend Holy Week if I switched out ‘Easter Sunday.’  Sometimes he has good ideas like that.  I think it just might be a lovely reminder throughout the year, now. Do you like it?

Consider this my Easter gift to you.

Here’s how you can use it:

  • Right click on the image and save it to your computer.
  • Paste it into Word or Publisher and size it up to 8×10.
  • Print it out.  Remember the nicer the paper the sharper the image.
  • Or save it to a memory stick/flash drive and take it to your photo center.
  • Slip it into a photo frame.
  • Enjoy displaying it in a vignette or on your Easter buffet.

Now for the caveat.  My printer has no ink at the moment so I cannot print it out, and I am 25 minutes from Walmart.  I am hopeful that you will not have any problems with the art.  If you do, please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by today. I love it when you join in the conversation by leaving your kind words.

If you enjoyed this post, would you please hit one or more of the sharing buttons to the left or below and let your friends know they too can have An Extraordinary Day!  Thank you!!

Grateful for HIS sacrifice,

Diane

  15. Happy Easter weekend. And happily creating, I see. What a loving thing to do for some of us who have no clue ‘zackly HOW one goes about doing that. Aren’t you just clever!

Apologies for the absence–I’ll adjust to the sudden GO after being on full STOP for a quarter of a year…..and the computer WILL cooperate. (silly thing hasn’t been working with the modem, suddenly–temper tantrum, I think…LOL) But I’ll talk ’em into playing nice with each other! 😉

Yup–we’ve got baskety things and eggs for hiding and STUFF for the wee one on Sunday. Little did I know we were getting the company! LOL Oh, but it’s all good….we can hopefully hide eggs in the bare spots on the lawn–maybe one or two on a snow pile just for the fun of climbing it!
    *hugs*
Enjoy the Easter events and I hope all is well for you and yours.

    • Oh Mel, it is a challenge to go from a stop to a go! But…praise God…you can now Go!!! Yay!!
Computer and technical challenges…yuck! Usually I pray, turn everything off, count to 15, and trust that all will work. Best wishes on all of that. :)
A surprise visit for Easter…a reason to cheer!! I know you will have so much fun hiding eggs and more. I’m so happy for you.
Wishing you a JOYous Easter!! [hugs]
