Today we’re going to have fun!
Fabulous yellow made in the sunshine bright and cheerful fun.
For quite sometime I’ve been reading “Gussy Sews,” a fun and uplifting blog written by the very creative and inspiring Maggie, aka Gussy. Once a month Maggie invites her readers to join her and link up for an Inspiration Workshop.
This month her prompt is Yellow!
Yellow!
It’s one of my favorite colors!
It’s sunshine and daisies and daylilies. It’s lemons and corn on the cob and summer squash.
It’s the color of happiness and sunsets. At least it is in my world. Haha!
So let’s have some fun together as I present to you some of my recent discoveries in….
The gals at Creative Juice came up with a tempting and tasty
Lemony Ladies Luncheon.
They didn’t miss a thing!
Everything from the Lemonade to the Lemon Caper Chicken to the Lemon Petit Fours to the Lemon Drops Favors is pure lemony goodness.
Bobbi McCormick from NHERSHOES
created this wonderful YELLOW graphic.
I love this terrific quote from Louie Giglio, amazing songwriter and storyteller.
And then there are Bees!
Honey Bees, Bumble Bees, and those annoying Yellow Jackets!
More yellow happiness for me. Somewhere in my boxes of all things good and worthy of hauling around the country is a Bee Hive Honey Pot, like the light yellow one pictured below with the Honey Bee on top. I have ONE…this is Martha Stewart’s delightful collection. Since moving to PA I have not seen the Honey Bees in numbers like I did in my garden in NY. Then again, I only have a few flowers here. Hmmm. I’ll have to do something about that. Do you love Bees and Honey, too?
How could one not be happy to wake up,
shower, and brush the pearly whites in this oh-so-sunny bathroom?
I was so smitten with this yellow wallpaper
that it became a part of my “Inspired Home Sweet Home” Board on Pinterest.
One of the things that makes my heart glad is to walk
with my husband along the wooded byways, camera in hand.
I did a little research on this beautiful yellow flower, and the closest thing that I can come up with is, “Forest Sunflower – Helianthus decapetalus.” But, I am not absolutely sure that is correct.
What makes this photo even more special,
is that I captured this fun yellow flower against the yellow No Trespassing sign on the Yellow Inspiration Workshop Day!!! Now doesn’t that just make you smile? It sure does me.
Was I right?
Are you feeling happier now that you’ve been exposed to a plethora of YELLOW?!
What’s your favorite Yellow?
Wishing you An Extraordinarily Sunny Day!
Diane

Hi Stacy!
I think maybe I should have asked another question about yellow. I now wonder what I was thinking – Haha!
Regardless…it was a fun exercise.
