All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance
and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
May you and your family enjoy an Extraordinary Labor Day.
And may the work of your hands and mind be a blessing.
On Labor Day I want to celebrate the farmer. This Labor Day quote by Martin Luther King, Jr., truly speaks to the vital role of the farmer in our health and vitality. At our house we have a huge appreciation for farm fresh everything. We were blessed to be able to walk (it’s a 2 miles round trip) or bike to a farm for fresh eggs or to the weekly farmers’ market for the freshest of everything including raw milk and cheese. Our local organic store had organic grass-fed beef from the farm you see in the photo above. I’m not a beef eater per say, but this meat was so good. When I would walk up the hill from my house to the local school, this was a view I had. It is magnificent. And this is the view that we drove away from yesterday on another new adventure.
How are you spending Labor Day?
Hoping your day is Extraordinary!
Diane

Hope you have a relaxing weekend as well; you deserve it. Wait quietly in His presence. You are always loved.
Our Labor Day was completely without labor, Linda. Whew! Just what we needed. 😉
Hope yours was extraordinary!

Your day sounds like the perfect way to enjoy Labor Day!! 🙂
My heart travels with you a bit this day. I just know God has a plan and I read recently that its boy called faith if we have all the details up front. And so I pray Lord, thank you Diane got all out and cleaned. Thank you she has friends. Give her and spouse safety as they travel and give them peace as they journey along. Your ways are so perfect. I do not understand but I am often not let in on what’s going to happen so I just go along…Lord help Diiane and I go on our new journeys–again–with grace and showing even without words that our help, comes from You Lord. Praise You God!
Love
Gwen.
Yes, Gwen….HIS ways are perfect! Thank you for that kind reminder. 🙂 And thank you for your prayer….for both of us….and let me give the Amen in Jesus’ Name. To God be the glory!!
Amen…
(((( Diane )))) Whether arriving, departing, or just a part of the changing scenery…..it’s an amazing view.
I’m grateful for the others who are a part of the journey … you are not alone. Ever. Yes, thinking of you and yours…grateful and humbled.
Two years ago, mid October, we arrived in that mountain valley. Now imagine all the trees being aflame with color. On the 4th from that same vantage point we enjoyed seeing about 15 different towns fireworks in the distance. No matter what….it has been a blessing to be able to walk up that hill to the school and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
Thinking of you and praying for you daily, my friend. 🙂
