I used to think that having a smart phone for personal use and blogging was an extravagance.
But today, I’m enjoying my new Simply Prepaid™ plan from T-Mobile and Samsung Galaxy Avant phone.
It wasn’t all that long ago I had this conversation with my husband…
Are you crazy?! $129 a month for one cell phone?
Do you realize what we could do with that money?
I confess, my wonderful sweet husband got quite an earful. And then he said… “It doesn’t come out of my pocket, the money was budgeted for me to have the phone and comes from my business expense account.”
Oh.
If the money was coming from someone else’s pocket… I was okay with it. Actually, I was excited for my husband. Having a smart phone was a plus for us.
You see, previously, a cell phone was not a necessity in our household. We used to work together, so we didn’t have much need to check in with each other. And, we had a land line at home. For travel we both had a cheap cell phone that used minutes purchased in advance. It was all we needed. And fit the budget nicely.
But life happens and we moved and no longer chose to have a land line… to cut costs we depended on our less than wonderful pay-by-the-minute phone service.
I hated that I couldn’t use Instagram, or post a photo to Facebook like all good bloggers do. In fact, I was limited with chatting and texting with my friends, most of whom live many hours and miles from me. It only takes a personal crisis, or a day when a good friend needs your ear, to use up precious, pay-by-the-minute phone time. Even more, I hated when I blew all my minutes and had to resort to using my laptop to email or leave messages on Facebook to stay in touch with my friends.
And then I learned about Simply Prepaid from T-Mobile.
For $40 a month, I can do all that I want to do with a smart phone. Plus, I don’t have to deal with overages, a credit check, or an annual service contract.
This is the best of both worlds for me. I can continue to be my frugal self, stay in daily contact with my friends, plus I have the latest technology at my fingertips wherever I go. My friends are thrilled that we can now be connected 24/7.
You might be tied in to an expensive plan and can’t wait until your contract is up, or if you’re like me, frugal and/or short on funds, the Simply Prepaid™ plan for just $40 dollars a month with 4G LTE data and unlimited talk and text is just what you need.
Where do you go for this plan?
Your local Walmart.
You might not have realized that Walmart carries phones. When you go to the store, you’ll want to visit the electronics department.
At my store, the T-Mobile Simply Prepaid™ display was across from the electronics desk. It’s pretty easy to find, because the phone boxes and display are a bright pink and white.
Look for this display…
You’ll be pleased to know, T-Mobile brings the best in wireless to prepaid phone service:
- You get unlimited talk, text, and data with your choice of a high-speed data amount (with a max speed of 8Mbps) starting at $40/month on T-Mobile’s Nationwide 4G LTE Network.
- Plus… No overages, credit check, or annual service contract are required.
There are several styles of phones to select from. I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Avant phone and two $40 cards to cover my first two months of service.
Remember my old phone with the prepaid minutes? My frugal self put up with a spotty network, and second-rate phones. However with Simply Prepaid™ I have a great network, phone, and 4G LTE data on T-Mobile. And, Yes!! I can even connect to my blog!
T-Mobile Simply Prepaid™ is a great option for many families.
I love this video a family created to show how Simply Prepaid™ was the answer they needed:
Have you been wanting great smart phone service without all the hassle and cost? Stop by your local Walmart and cut yourself free with T-Mobile Simply Prepaid.™
Now that you’ve read this far, I want to share a little bit more to my story. Remember that smart phone my husband got for his job. He lost that job. And he had to give up the expense of keeping that phone. We missed it. I missed being able to borrow it for walks in the evening with my old walking partners; walking and talking while hundreds of miles apart. Living in a new area, we got used to always being able to check the phone for navigation. Upon moving again, we really missed that phone app.
I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have been given the opportunity to share my story and to receive a phone and a prepaid service that works perfectly for us. And just like everything I share here on the blog… even if I do receive products and/or get paid for writing a post… I only share what helps make my life better… and therefore, hopefully, yours too.
Are you ready to ditch the contracts or the spotty service and second-rate phones?
Are you ready to save money and put those dollars to better use elsewhere?
What will you do with all the money you’ll be saving each month with Simply Prepaid™?
