Recently I was invited to share a creative crafts tutorial over at It’s Overflowing. My mind was spinning with so many possibilities, but finally I settled on these Easy DIY Dangling Beaded Heart Ornaments. I know, that’s a mouthful!
As you know, I always enjoy sharing projects that are low or no cost and require just a few items. I love these dangling beaded heart ornaments because they are a great example of using whatever you have on hand and turning it into something truly extraordinary.
Here, the are making an appearance on my valentine mantel.
To see how I used them in home decor for the guest post and the full tutorial, pop on over to Aimee’s “house.“
There’s still time to make some dangling beaded heart ornaments to hang all over your house, too!
And now, on to our Extraordinary Link Party….
Thank you so much for joining in the fun here. Each week I am amazed at the creativity and talent.
Love is in the air this week….can you feel it? To celebrate and spread the love around….please take time to visit and comment on the posts of the people immediately preceding your link(s) in the party. And….look for someone who has shared something in the same vein as you, ie…furniture makeover…find another furniture makeover, or recipe….find another recipe…and visit that blog…you just might make a new friend. Try to visit and comment on at least three. What a great opportunity to love “on” someone else. You just might make their day. And you will feel even better because of it.
I can’t wait to see what you’ve linked up this week.

My Picks….
I confess…I love home decor and seeing what you do to make your homes a beautiful sanctuary for your family and friends. You can be assured that those are posts I am most looking forward to each week.
This week Terry’s stairwell caught my eye. Her new wainscoting is gorgeous! I love black and white and I love how dramatic her stairway now looks with the white steps and spindles, and black stair rails. Isn’t it amazing what a little paint can do? What a great makeover!

Amy gave us a tour of her friend’s lovely bedroom. You’re going to love her view!
It’s the little details that make life extraordinary and Carolyn does those little details so well. I love the elegant simplicity of the Seeded Eucalyptus tied around the outside of a votive holder. Perfect as a single votive. I can see several lined down the middle of the table for a special dinner, too.

I love wreaths that aren’t exactly wreaths. Maybe you can come up with a catchy non-wreath name.
This a-door-nment is too cute.
