We had a beautiful weekend here in our neck of the woods.
Everything is in bloom and Spring is showing off in high style.
Today…I thought I would share with you one of my favorite tablescapes….
Black and White Polka Dot Spring Tablescape
This was such a quick and easy tablescape to put together. Stop here and find out how it all came together.
I had no idea that it was so popular on Pinterest….it was pinned more than a thousand times. 🙂 Wow!
There’s something about the classic look of black and white, but if I would do this again, my next color choice would be coral. What color would you choose?
And now…on to our party!
Mary Beth from Cupcakes and Crinoline ~ Malia from Yesterday on Tuesday
Stephanie Chan from The Silly Pearl ~ Diane from An Extraordinary Day
Features from Last Week’s Party
My Picks….
At first sight I fell in love with Deborah’s beautiful fabric pins. I’m totally smitten with them.
It might be the contrast between the shabby fabric and the rhinestone buttons.
If you love them too, be sure to check out her instructions for making them.
Or….if you’d rather forego the effort, just order one or four at her Esty shop.

Every now and again I see a project where some clever gal has used old belts in a project.
I think this just might be my favorite project using belts!
Would you ever have thought to weave belts like this for a stool? Nope! Me either!

You are so welcome, friend. I’m looking forward to trying my hand a making some too. I hope I’ll be able to find some fun blingy buttons too. What great gifts for girlfriends. I hope they fly out of your Etsy shop! BTW…don’t hesitate to pull something out of the archives to link up. It’s old to you and new to most. 😉
See you tonight at “your house.”
I also love to sit down to a pretty and fun table. I’ve been making more effort with my children and spouses because I do have some pretty and also inexpensive fun dishes that can be used to brighten up the meal!
I guess one could do any color but I think it’s pinned because it is polka dots in the traditional black and white. It simply pops!!! How fun!!!
I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying putting together a pretty table, Gwen. You have the heart of an artist, so I have no doubt that this is a great way to express your creativity.
You know, I think you’re probably correct about the reason for the popularity. It’s a classic…and I also don’t think many people use a black tablecloth and really it makes for a simply stunning table.
Thanks for popping by. [hugs]
I love, love the polka dot tablescape. AND I pinned it too. so very cute. Stopping by from inspiring grace linky. Have a great week.
Awww…thank you so much Rachel!! Polka dots make my heart go pitter patter….glad you love them too!
Thanks so much for popping by! [hugs]

I loved it then and I love it now. And I’ve since bougbt two place settings of the glass dishes–they’re just too fun!
