Day 1
I decided.
I’m living in the moment.
I’m not thinking about Christmas and all the goodness of the Christmas season. Nope. I’m camped out in Thanksgiving.
With that in mind, I decided to narrow my focus as we approach Thanksgiving. Each of these {7 Days of Thanksgiving} posts will have something for your inspiration with that focus. I hope it’s just what you need, too.
Today I’m loving these words of President Theodore Roosevelt…..
A good question to ask ourselves….
What are we doing as an expression of gratefulness for all our blessings?

Thanks for the awesome quote from T!
Hello Sonya! Good man…good heart. We need more leaders like that today.
Wishing you an extraordinary weekend!
thanks for the gentle reminder to stay in the giving-of-thanks place and not running too far ahead in our efforts to plan …
Isn’t it interesting how we need those gentle nudges? I know all too well that sometimes it’s easy to miss the meaning in our busyness.
Linda, may your Thanksgiving be filled with extraordinary reflections of gratitude.
I too am refusing to give in to the early Christmas syndrome…while I know we are to live lives of thankfulness everyday all year long I want to especially savor this time of gratitude. Enjoyed your quote today!
Hello Marty! Yes, it’s good to take advantage of this time that has actually been “set aside” for grateful reflection.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Boy–it’s good to know I’m not alone in the battle to ‘stay in the moment’. There’ll be enough time to scurry and scramble LATER! 😉
Gorgeous photo under those words of wisdom.
Oh Mel…you said it! What a battle it is!

Stopping by for a visit from Jumping Tandem! So true! I’ve learned that living in the moment is the way to enjoy my life while living with severe chronic pain. Thank you for the reminder.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Please add the ladies from my chronic illness group in your prayers today. May they experience the Heavenly Father’s love and comfort. In Jesus name. Amen!
