Day 6
The early evening light in October is extraordinary. Magical.
I relish it. The sky is a deeper blue. Trees stand proud in a blaze of color
Illuminated leaves appear as wispy stained glass windows.
Leaves….
Piling up on the sidewalk.
Brilliant on the trees.
Extraordinary. Stunning. Magical. Leaves.
“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” ~ Albert Camus
Savoring every glint of Autumn’s light.
Marveling at the colors of the trees in full Autumn bloom.
Infinite shades of red, orange, and yellow.
Delighting in the glorious beauty all around….
treasuring these lovely but fleeting moments.
This is living fully.
And for me….it’s a form of worship.
Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary?
What do you find extraordinary about October’s Autumn?
What about it causes you to live more fully?
May your weekend be extraordinary!

Wow! Those are beautiful! We don’t see that here in Southern California. Thank you for sharing your photos! Stopping in from SITS.
Thanks Raquel! California has some beauty that we don’t have in PA. A good reason to travel though all the states and seasons. 😀
Happy Fall!
I love autumn too! Lovely pictures! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Rebecca!

You are so kind Karianne!
Hope your weekend is fabulous!!
I love those colors! Autumn brings such intense reds, oranges, and yellows. It’s like living in HD 🙂 I miss the true experience of fall living in Southern California. The closest I get is a pumpkin patch in 100 degree weather. But it does feel like fall when we are surrounded by pumpkins and hay bails. My kids love it.
Happy Sharefest Day!
Nicole, pumpkin farms are sooo fun and one of my favorite fall outings. But, I can’t imagine looking for the perfect pumpkin in such warm temperatures. As I enjoy the cool temps and colorful scenery, I’ll be thinking of you and appreciating it a little bit more. We take so many things in our little corners of the world for granted don’t we.
Fall Blessings!
So beautiful. Autumn is one of my favorite times of year. We have very little color change, yet. Leaves are falling, pine needles are falling, and we need some rain. But I can’t complain summer started so late this year. I’ve had several plants bloom twice because of the late sun. I need them to go to sleep before the cold weather. Thank you for the beautiful pictures. Now that I’ve launched my book The Mindstalker on Kindle today, I’m off to enjoy the outdoors.
I’m so glad that you’re able to take some time to bask in the glories of nature. Congratulations on your book launch on Kindle!!!! I’m going to share that with my husband too…I think we will really enjoy it. May you be blessed beyond imagination on Kindle.
Hello I am visiting via the Nester’s 31 days series. Your series is so inspirational and leaves me with such happiness.
