Do you ever have a day when you can’t seem to focus?

Today was like that for me.  I’m not sure why, but I just flitted around and accomplished little.

And so, I’ve given myself permission to share some things with you that recently crossed my path.  They are completely random.  And they either caused me to think, blessed me, or were simply… simply lovely.

The Nester writes about Tanzania.  It’s a ways into this article.  Wait for it….

“I have everything I need.”

And I have no words.  I think I’need to read it again.  And again.

Nesting Place

If #1 left you grappling, grasping, or gasping…  You must read this.  The Nester processed her experience.   And it resonated with my heart.

The other day I came across this quote.  Where?  I don’t know…I was so taken with the quote that I didn’t make note.

Now if you are going to win any battle, you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired.” ~ Gen. George S. Patton

Whew!  Porch Pots, done!  Window Boxes, done!  Hanging Baskets, done!

Creating container gardens is one of my most favorite things to do.

I took lots of photos when I created this Pretty in Peach Porch Pot and a window box.  Be watching for a tutorial with lots of tried and true tips from yours truly.

Handmade Goodness!

This Memorial Weekend SALE is Spectacular!

Maybe you’ve had your eye on the Appetizer Plates/Trays – You’ll love saving $12 & $20!

I’m totally smitten with the Ripple Bowls & the Long Oval Tray.  They are perfect for serving up yummy salads, desserts, and appetizers.

The Sisters Medium Boardwalk Basket – almost half-price!  I use mine all the time.  It has plenty of room for carrying a few books, journals, a water bottle, my wallet and other necessities.  And when you don’t use it for a purse…fill it with some greenery, or place it in a grouping for textural interest.

The Party Tub….yes, it will make entertaining easy and extraordinary!!

And then there is the perfect basket at an incredibly low price to show off your patriotism.  The Summer Bouquet Basket.  Can’t you see it on your table – how about a pair of them, each with a pot of red or white geraniums.  Add the Protector to protect from water or to hold snacks.

Yes, I do get a little excited about a SALE like this.  Just in case you don’t know…Our Woven Traditions Pottery is vitrified so you can bake it, microwave it, easy clean up, and freeze it.  Plus it’s crack, craze, and chip resistant.  What that really means is that you don’t have to worry when you load/unload the dishwasher that you’re going to chip your dish.  And this I know from plenty of experience! 😀  And when it comes to Longaberger Baskets.  They are truly handmade goodness….by talented Longaberger Basket weavers in Frazeysburg, Ohio.

Pop over to the Longaberger Lifestyle website and stock up on top quality gifts for grads, teachers, weddings, and birthdays.  Don’t forget to treat yourself too!!  While you’re there….be sure to look for the blue “Longaberger at Home” icon….for even more terrific deals!

So there you have it!  Six random things.

What do you do when you can’t focus?
