Our #InspiredFallNesting series is coming to a close. And though I usually focus on the “pretty” of life…today we’ll wrap things up with some practical Fall Nesting tips.

It’s great to pull out the colors of Fall and add pumpkins and gourds to the mix.  But, if things fall on our heads when we open closet and cabinet doors, oh my!   With Fall upon us, along with longer nights, shorter days, and cooler weather….now is the time to get things organized.

Practical Fall Nesting Tips :: #Organization :: AnExtraordinaryDay.net

Last Fall, as part of my 31 Extraordinary Days series, I shared some organizational ideas I used in my kitchen that helped me in a really big way.  As my blog was pretty new then, you probably didn’t see that post.  Click here to read Organize the Nest for Fall for some really practical Fall Nesting tips.

If you have a tip to share….please do so in the comments below!  I LOVE to read your thoughtful remarks!!

Happy Nesting!!

Speaking of the 31 Days series…

I decided to take the challenge again this year and I hope you’ll join me in the fun.

Late tonight, I’ll be back, when the series kicks off with hundreds and hundreds of other bloggers participating in The Nester’s 31 Day writing challenge.  Last year 1239 bloggers participated.  Let me tell you…it really is a challenge.  My laptop died when the challenge began last year, and was being restored the whole month, but I completed the series using a friend’s laptop as well as my husband’s.  I guess I learned perseverance. [wink]  And this time…I’m hopeful that there will be a move.  My fingers are crossed.  Yup.  I love a challenge!!

You’re dying to learn my topic…Yes?  Sorry…you’ll just have to wait until tonight to see. [wink]

But….I will tell you that I’m linking up under the category Inspirational & Faith.  I’m looking forward to the challenge and hope you’re excited too!

Update: Click here to check out my 31 Days series.

See you tonight!!

I forget how I signed up for several 31 days last year. I was new to reading blogs. I was inspired by Jennifer at Studio JRU. Her post held great impact for me. I’m forgetful of where do I check out all the possible 31 day posts. I will look forward to your 31 day posts

  2. I actually already posted my first 31 Days post, so I could link with a specific link-up that goes live on Mondays. So it’s already out there. I hear you about the kick-off excitement, Diane. My eyes are constantly ‘drifting’ down to the lower right corner of the monitor to check the time!

LuAnn…Aren’t we funny how we pay so much attention to these little details? 🙂 I guess that’s the blessing and bane….as well as the fun of blogging!
I’m looking forward to checking out your series.
      Blessings, my friend!!

Oh yes…..I think this is where I first discovered this extraordinary place.
    I’m excited! Seriously!!
    It’ll be a good thing…and a fun thing…and a stretching thing, no doubt.

We started the clearing out of the pantry–aiming for one self a day cuz that’s doable on top of everything else. Man we tossed a lot of staff from the pantry. Some things we bagged up to go to the food pantry–stuff I can’t have/we just won’t bother to eat. Bay leaves on the shelf was a good thing to know! I’ll do that next trip to the kitchen!
AND we get 31 days of STUFF with you.
    🙂

    Cool!

      Oh yes…it will be stretching. 🙂 But…that’s a good thing! 🙂
Pantry cleaning! Wow! I do like that job…it feels so good when it’s finished…but whoa…there’s sure a mess to get all that orderliness. 🙂
Thanks for the warm thoughts. 🙂

  4. Enjoyed your post and Fall nesting! Thanks for linking to TTF
