Just Me and My Shadow
Just Me and My Shadow
Sometimes it’s just my shadow and I
Running around under this big ole sky…
He’s just like me from head to toe
Where he comes from, I don’t know…
I love to race this friend of mine
But he seems to stay one step behind…
It’s good to have this friend to share
Because I know he’ll always be there!

Catch up on all that’s Extraordinary…
this week at An Extraordinary Day:
Here are this week’s posts…
- True Joy {Joy Day!}
- An Irish Blessing :: Happy St. Patrick’s Day
- Yellow Daffodils and Splashes of Blue :: Spring Tablescape
- Quick and Easy Vegetable Side Dish Recipe :: Far East Celery
It’s been an another Extraordinary week on the blog.
We started the week with some prickly cactus photos captured at Phipps Conservatory and contemplated a quote by Francis Chan and later that day I shared a St. Patrick’s Day blessing. Then I created a cheerful and eclectic tablescape for Spring and Easter followed up with one of my family’s favorite side dishes for Easter or any holiday.
Despite the constant snow all week…it was a great week here. Do you have any idea how blessed I am that you would stop by, leave your thoughtful remarks, and even share and pin the posts you like. Thank you. Hugs to each of you who make this feel like a chat and not me just tapping words into space.

I love this! Gave me my first smile early on this cold spring morn.
That is an awesome photo! Seriously. How nice of the kitty to not get too annoyed while you were snapping it. LOL
And it’s been a busy week for you, good grief! Lots of folks stopping in — which is exciting to see for you. I’m very glad. And it’s been a pretty week with wonderful photos to accompany the adventures.
I’m STILL gonna drag out the ‘in process and YES I’ll get it done’ banner…Hahaha….maybe today since more snow is headed this way.
Ah yes…..welcome to spring time in the midwest, eh? 😉
Enjoy the weekend ma’am.
And keep doing what you’re doing–it’s looking good on you.
Actually, I think Taylor was getting annoyed with me. But, that sunshine…we had seen in daaaaaaaays…was so warm…he gave in. 🙂
I’ve been away…so now that I’m back….I’m here to ‘check up’ on that banner. 🙂 Is it done yet?
And yes…I had a fab weekend away…hope yours was enjoyable too. 🙂
The Shadow Poem is quite cute. I’m visiting from Studio JRU today. We love to play shadow tag on a sunny day when we’re out on walks. It gets some great laughs out of the kids. =) Happy Easter.
I LOVE shadow tag Anita!!! It’s the best for active imaginations…like mine! 🙂 Haha!
very impressive shadow
Awwww…thanks!
What a beautiful image! Almost abstract – and two of my favourite things – a cat and orange:)
Lovely composition!
Thank you for sharing on Mandarin Orange Monday:)
Well…of course!! Haha! I never thought about that!
Thanks Lori! Hope your weekend is extraordinary!
