Hope is the word
which God has written
on the brow of every man.
Victor Hugo
I am so grateful that these words are true.
Despite my circumstances…I have hope.
And more importantly, I know the HOPE giver.
Victor Hugo had a way with words.
His hope quote was a gentle reminder for me today.
And hopefully for you too!

Do you ever find yourself thinking that you want to order a book for your Kindle or maybe a book that has real pages? [grin] Or, maybe you think that you ought to look online to see if your can find something to meet your need? Often I hear people say, “I went to Amazon.” Or, “I ordered it on Amazon.”
If you ever find yourself saying those words, would you do me a big favor and pop over here and use my Amazon affiliate link over on the side bar? You could even bookmark the blog, just for that purpose. I won’t make big bucks from your purchase. The commission is very small. But, if you will be shopping there anyway, why not allow me to benefit, even in a small way?
A thousand thanks!! And thanks for putting up with my asking, too. [hugs]
Living in Hope!

Absolutely beautiful — simply love it – What would the world be without Hope in the One True God —
Thank you Kathleen. 🙂
Without HIM there is no hope.
Blessings!
I love that quote. I only order books on Amazon right now that are free, but will keep you in mind for future purchases.

Dear Dianne
What I find even more wonderful Is that when our Lord Jesus lives in us through His Spirit, we have the living Hope residing IN our hearts. Amazing, don’t you think!
God bless you, Dianne
Mia
I guess, Mia, that’s why Hugo says it’s written on our foreheads. 🙂
It is the most amazing blessing to think He lives in us.
Blessings!
What a lovely mingling of quote and beauty. Thanks for sharing and how TRUE!
Thank you! It was one of those times late afternoon when the light was so enchanting.

Linda
Sometimes it’s what we hang on to!
Hope your weekend is Extraordinary!
Oh, what a wonderful photo with that quote. And…Boy…..have I had some repeat lessons about HOPE. Tough lessons, actually. Falling down, desperate, back against the wall, bottom falling out..lessons. And what I’m charged with, in part, is bringing it into the lives of others. HOPE is a wonderful thing when you have it. When it’s absent— It’s a hugely painful, lonely hole. And the problem with “writing it on the brow” is that everyone but the ‘hopeless’ one sees it.
(yes, I know I took that in the literal sense–I know there’s more to Victor than the literal!)
We’re all messengers and bringers of HOPE. I think since we can often see in others things that we cannot see in ourselves (yup–BROW again!) we’re all charged to do that out of love for others.
*laughing* There’s my undercaffinated two cents! 🙂
Have a blessed day! And since I’m a book fan–and can NEVER have too many books–I’ll know to come here to go there! 😉
Blessings to you and yours, ma’am. And woohooo…it’s the weekend! 😉 (almost…)
Awww…thanks Mel!
Oh do I love your ‘undercaffinated’ two cent!! 😀
If anyone can rise above their situation and bring hope to others….you can and do.
Thank you for being a constant and encouraging voice in my life.
After the fact, I had another thought about wearing (writing) hope on the brow. I think that when we really do live this Hope stuff…it shows in our faces. Our faces aren’t etched with the pain and stress as they otherwise would be. Our burdens are carried for us. 😉
The weekend! Wow…this week surely went by in a blink!! Hope you get to see a little bug or maybe a big bug. 😉 [hugs]
Hi Diane! Thanks for the inspiring words tonight. It’s amazing how much our circumstances can change when we choose to hope! Hope you’re having a nice week.
