Welcome to Project Inspire{d}!

I am so glad you’re here!

Over the  weekend I went out of town for the day and enjoyed a delightful color tour on the way to my destination.  In my neck of the woods there are mostly yellows with some oranges and a few rare reds, so it was nice to get to see a little bit more fall color.   For those of you who don’t have the pleasure of seeing the leaves change color I wish you could have come along with me for the ride.

The wind is ferocious tonight… I hope all the colorful leaves don’t get blown off the trees.  Today I almost got blown away as I went leaf gathering… for the not-quite-so colorful brown oak leaves.  And let me tell you there were plenty!!  Along with acorns!  I’ve got some fun things planned ahead for you here.  Be sure to stop back tomorrow!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by, link up your Great Ideas, link back, and leave your warm words.

You are the best!!

Last year…I had a ton of fun putting together this pretty natural fall wreath.

I think it would be perfect for a fall party with a punch bowl sitting in the center of the wreath.  I discovered that the leaves didn’t last nearly as long as I’d liked….mostly because the punched holes in the leaves helped them dry out quickly.  But, that won’t stop me from looking for beautiful leaves and making another.  You might even want to spray your leaves with clear coat.  I haven’t done that yet…but I’ve got another project in the works in which I have plans to try that technique.  If you have a favorite way to preserve leaves….go for it.  And let me know how it worked.
