Living a Life of Grace : Colorful Tablescape : Meaningful Table Setting : Table Grace

Grace.

Daily Grace.

I don’t know about you… but I need an abundance of grace to get through the day.

Good thing God’s grace is constant and overflowing.

All by grace - daily grace beyond the table.

What about my grace?

Sometimes I am not all that gracious.

It’s hard to understand how we can be given so much and then turn around and be stingy with what we have.

I’m not talking about stingy with stuff… I’m talking about stingy with grace.

Daily Grace Beyond the Table begins in receiving the gift of grace.

How are you in the patience department?

Me?  Not so good.  In fact, my husband often points it out to me.  In a good way which helps me see myself as I should.

I don’t really think much about patience.

I surely don’t pray and ask God to give me more.   Maybe I need to.

Daily Grace Table Setting

As I consider how to be more gracious… the one thing that comes up is patience.

What if we who are impatient were to think about extending grace.  Might we be more patient in our personal and business relationships?

I don’t have the answer… but I would like to think it would make a difference… and maybe I should start now.

Daily Grace reminds me to show others how grateful and thankful I am.

As I was writing I was reminded in my spirit of the grace that we have been given.  As I went to the scriptures, these verses jumped right out at me:

…love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help. That way, God’s bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he’ll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything… 1 Peter 4:7-11  The Message

Our daily grace needs to be beyond the table.

Our daily grace surely can be a service of love to others and to God.

What would honor God more?

What could do more for humankind than offering grace, in the power and name of Jesus?

Because of Daily Grace let's open our hearts in grateful praise.

About a year ago I acquired these lovely dishes.  I tell the story here.

I love how each piece is a gentle reminder to receive God’s grace and to give it away.

All by Grace… Blessed & Grateful… Open Your Heart… Grace for Today… and Live a Grateful Life.

We cannot give grace until we’ve received it and given thanks for it.

God abundantly provides all we need each day for every area of our lives.  It’s in gratitude that we discover more grace and out of that overflow we can extend it to others.

It’s from that place we’re able to love and serve.

Daily grace… the gifts of God we receive… the hearts of gratitude we grow… the prayers we pray… the love of God we show to others.

Daily grace to live a grateful life beyond the table
It’s all grace…

Have a blessed and grace-filled weekend!

Even though I was raised in a Christian home, we didn’t talk much about Grace. We sang “Amazing Grace’ but that was about the extent of it. I was well into my adulthood before I began to get a grip on Grace. It changed my life. I no longer feared that if I ‘slipped’ I would make God mad and might not make it to heaven. I believe God’s grace extends farther and wider than ours does to other people. I’m working on that and I’m also working on that patience thing…….

What a wonderful thing to have a fuller understanding now of God’s amazing grace, Mary. 🙂 Yeah… that patience thing… that’s a big work in progress. 😉

All the best for an extraordinary day!

  2. I am so grateful for God’s grace. But I do need to remember to be an extension of God’s grace especially to those closest to me. But I find if my heart is towards Him, He gently reminds me to do that. I like the dishes! At first I thought you had added the words to them yourself. Have a wonderful weekend! Diane

Yes!!! Isn’t it wonderful that HIS reminders are gentle, too?
Oh wouldn’t it be lovely to be able to personalize our own dishes?!
Thanks for stopping by Diane! Hope your week is off to an extraordinary start!

I am also so very thankful for God’s grace. I try to extend it to others as much as I can but always feel like I could or should do more. These are beautiful dishes and visited the sites. Lots to love 🙂

God’s grace is amazing. The opportunity to extend it to others is a blessing in itself, isn’t it?
Thanks for your kind words, too! [hugs]
