Hello, friends!  Thanks for coming by!

How was your day? Today I struggled… seemly seeing all the not-so-good things in my day.  That’s a dangerous place to be.  And so the realization led me to put together this graphic that encourages me to “look a little harder.”  Maybe it will be helpful for you, too.

QUOTE Look for something positive each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder. Image of Lake Michigan Sunset - AnExtraordinaryDay.net

Look for something positive each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder.

Did it help?  I hope this quote was just the little encouragement you need.

  1. Yellow Jackets in your bed! Yikes, Diane! That’s so not good. I hope this gets resolved once and for all. I can’t imagine having those things all over in our house. Anyways, thanks for hosting each week. I enjoy coming here to get inspired. I’m going to try making it to GH on Wednesday, but it’s suppose to rain, so I’ll see.

    • Oh Carol… me too! The owners are a lovely older couple… but… this has been more than challenging.
      I know that rain is in the forecast for tomorrow… but you never know this time of year. Keep your fingers crossed. 😉
      Thanks for joining in the fun here!! {hugs}

  2. Lovely post 🙂

    I love your photography. I just restarted my blessings book. 5 a day. Thank ing God. I often focus on the hummingbird so close out my window on my fall blooming vine.
    As I continue to adjust to a life without Mom, I forget. Her services were Saturday and as I walked in the house after a full day and lots of travel ( my friend thought I’d been up north five days!!!! No. we did all that in one day) I was going to call Mom and tell her who all was there and the food and how well Curt sang and how cute the three Cousin boys played. Praise you Lord for my parents.
    I’m weary in the head to write though. Thank you. Blessings

    • Gwen, I am so sorry to learn that your mom is not longer there to answer the phone, to hear your stories and be blessed by your joyful spirit. Oh what hard days these are. But, I rejoice with you that you have the assurance that you will be able to walk and talk with her again one day… and BOTH of you will be whole and healed.
      I love that you have restarted your blessings book. It’s just what you need at this time. I’ll be praying for you and Curt as you navigate these empty days. May God fill your heart with His grace and comfort. {{hugs}}
