Officially for me... it's NOW spring and Eastertime. Why do I say that? As I was looking out my treetop window on this cold misty gray morning a robin descended onto a branch and proceeded to begin the preening process. It was such an ordinary spring sight... except that it's now past the middle of March and this is my FIRST robin sighting this year. Quite a few years ago my husband and I were browsing a sweet little book shop in downtown Holland, Michigan at Christmas time. We could spend hours there. Tim, who is a huge fan of J.R.R. Tolkien, picked up a full-sized softcover book with the most amazing illustrations, Letters From Father Christmas. Welcome to Project Inspire{d}! I am so glad you're here! Over the weekend I went out of town for the day and enjoyed a delightful color tour on the way to my destination. In my neck of the woods there are mostly yellows with some oranges and a few rare reds, so it was nice to get to see a little bit more fall color.
